Annual Charity Picnic August 2020

We hope this message finds you well!

After careful consideration, we have regretfully decided to cancel the 26th Annual Fred Eaglesmith Charity Picnic, scheduled for August 14-16 due to the current uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The health and safety of our artists, guests and the park staff is always extremely important to us and has ultimately led us to make this decision. We do not feel that a gathering of this size is in the books for health and safety at this time.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the staff, guests, artists, vendors and campfire-jammers for always supporting us and showing us how a great festival can really bring people together!

We will miss seeing all of you this year!

  1. Debra Purser says

Hello Fred, Tiff, Mary, Jessie and everyone else at Team Eaglesmith.
We have been expecting, and with fingers crossed, hoping that this would not happen.
So much of our travel and friendships for so many years have revolved around Fred’s music and musical family.
But in these weird and wild times, this is the right decision. We all care for each other too much to risk putting anyone in harms way.
We look forward to the world getting back on its axis to that we can come together again and make our lives just a little less wild 🙂
If you find yourselves near Mt. Brydges, please stop by.
    We miss you!
    Gary & Debra

Thanks for your unswerving commitment to ‘doing the right thing!’ Your presence among us is truly missed, but your response to this situation does nothing to lessen the effects of all the good works you have done over the years. Stay well, hang tough; we’ll see you when we see you!

  3. Joan and John Rutherford says

Hope to see you in centre Wellington Ontario when you get back on the road! Stay safe!
